I don't think most driver's license photos would meet the rigid specifications for a passport photo. But I don't know whether or not you could scan a driver's license with it. I think probably not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not believe so. Here's my reasoning: Most driver's licenses I have seen are constructed of plastic that is too stiff or rigid for the license to properly feed through the FF-680W without damaging the license. This is only my opinion, however. To determine if I am correct, you may want to go to the nearest FedEx Office outlet to where you live and buy a sheet of heavy paper stock that would approximate the thickness of the plastic driver's license and try feeding it through the FF-680W and see how easily it feeds and if there is any permanent damage done to the heavy paper by the feeding exercise. Hope you have some success. I wish you good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have owned multiple scanners and this one is incredible! It is a real workhorse and can get through stacks of documents with clear results, great resolution and mighty speed. However, this would NOT be my first option for scanning my drivers license. It’s strength (imho) is in the sheet feeder processing. I have tried to feed something with the properties of a credit card through with no success. The ADF senses it as a document jam. I think you would be better off with a flatbed scanner for scanning a drivers license.
