“I want to out this in my basement with a 120 inch screen, diagonal I think. How far back does it need to be. I want to be sure it doesn't have to be further back than the basement can allow”

On the recently purchased Epson Home Cinema 1060 model i project on the wall in my familyroom. I do hook up my Nikon cameras with the proper HDMI cable and Projection distance from projector to wall screen is 118". The image i do get at that distance is 52" high and 96" wide. I also hook up my canon mini dv camera and play back my mini dv tapes and the image is smaller. It also shows the quality difference between mini dv digital images and my Nikon 1080 image quality. 1080 images of my Nikon cameras are such an improvement over the digital tape to image quality. Next will be testing 4K images from my Go Pro 6 camera. No need for a large screen tv. Am very happy with my new projector. Very compact size and now I need to improve on the sound quality. I really like the Epson projector and its capabilities.
