Many ways. You can hookup your TV receiver for cable DirectTV right to it. You can hook up a laptop. You can hook up a DVD player etc. The problem is the soundbar. HDMI transmits sound and audio. The sound comes from the source that is playing the video not the projector. Recommend an HDMI with audio splitter. They sell for about 20 online. They have RCA and digitial optical outputs. So hook up external video source run HDMI cord to splitter. Then pass thru HDMI to projector. The use either digital opitcal RCA and run into soundbar or other sound output. I ran into same issue first time I used.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have similar experiences with my FireStick. I play other sources (a laptop and a BluRay player) and the picture is crystal clear but through my FireStick it is very pixelated low resolution and the wireless performs poorly. I got some level of improvement by using the short extension cable that came with the FireStick. I have been marking it up to a issue with the HDMI negotiation between the FireStick and the projector.
