Yes, but you are probably better off sending audio directly from your source (laptop, dvd player, etc) to a receiver/amp or powered speaker instead of going thru the projector. I use an HDMI cable to send video from my laptop to the projector and a mini (1/8") stereo cable to send audio from the same laptop to my powered speaker when playing movies outside. Works great.
