No device will work well in ambient temperatures that exceed the manufacturer's specs. See website for temperature range. Ceiling mount with angled projection is no problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Chris, The heat handling limits vary according to altitude. At up to 7500 feet (2286 m) the range is 41 to 95 °F (5 to 35 °C). From 7500 feet (2286 m) to 10000 feet (3048 m) the range is 41 to 86 °F. The Home Cinema 3800 can be inverted and hung from the ceiling using a compatible mount. There is a menu setting to invert the image. The projector should not be tilted side to side, but it can be tilted forward or back by up to 30°. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
