We set this projector up approximately April of 2018...8 months ago. The bulb lasted 720 hours on medium setting, a far cry from the advertised life of 3000 - 5000 hours. We contacted Epson for a replacement, but the bulb was out of stock, and we were told it could take “weeks and sometimes months” (their words) for it to be back in stock. Purchased the bulb online. Projector picture is beautiful, but this could get expensive. Advertising is very deceptive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only had the projector for 2 weeks. Picture is incredible! This is my 3rd projector. Not sure on the bulb life as it is relatively new. I'm viewing on a 120" screen. Clarity is as good if not better than my 55" 4k tv. Projecting from approx 12 feet but don't need that distance to get the 120" viewing. Power zoom and focus are great and the auto lens cover when off is great to keep dust out.Set up was easy. Hope this helps. Thumbs up on this Epson 4000. Best projector I've seen without spending over $7k.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bulbs last from 300 to 5000 hours per Epson depending on brightness setting used on the Epson 4000. I use a 133 inch screen with projector ceiling mounted about 19 feet away so little zoom or adjustment is needed to fill the screen. My picture is stunning in 4k with my Epson 4000.
