• It is 4K upscaling that what I know, it is not true 4K projector which are expensive. But I am satisfied with the picture quality and the color depth, contrast are excellent. I hope this may help you.

• Well, keep in mind that its not true 4K resolution, but it does look great. As for substantial upgrade? not really, but the 5040UB would be
