Go with 4K discs, they look great with this projector. Also, most blu-rays are incapable of presenting Dolby Atmos while it's common on 4K discs (depending on each movie's production). As someone with 7.2.4, 4K is 100% the way to go every time if you want the best audio presentation. Blu-rays will still sound good, but 4K will deliver maximum performance with a setup like yours and you'll easily be able to notice the difference.
