I'm not sure about the LS11000, but the 5050UB can be placed just about anywhere due to its lens shift and zoom capability. From my research, it seems to be the most versatile option in the market for projector placement, which was one of the main reasons why I chose it for my theater. I couldn't be happier with the 5050UB. Its lens shift is a life saver and the projected image is stunning.
