• Power comes from USB cord plugged into computer USB.

• Hi mycomputer, The Perfection V39 Scanner is USB powered. It requires a connection to a standard USB 2 port in a computer using the included cable. It does not require an external power supply. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
