• Hi FLWR, Yes. The Epson Perfection V39 is compatible with Mac OS® X 10.6.x, 10.7.x, 10.8.x, 10.9.x or 10.10.x. Updated scanner drivers can be downloaded from the Epson support site. • I don’t know about Apple. It does create jpeg file extensions
