“Multiple photos: can I put say four old photos in the scanner and have Epson Scan frame each of them in a Preview, before actually scanning? I can do this with Epson Scan on my XP830.”

I haven't found a way to have the scanner do this automatically, but in preview mode I can draw a box around each of multiple images and the scanner will put them in separate files.
