Does this interface with MacBook Air laptop? null

Yes. I've used it with a 2012 MacBook Air (High Sierra), and a 2018 Mac mini (Mojave). I use the OS X "Scanners and Printers" application rather than the software that comes with the scanner.

It connects to our MacBook Pro via usb and works great.
