“This scanner says it comes with an installation CD...is it necessary? It says it’s Mac compatible but my Mac does not have a cd drive.”

• My scanner did not come with an installation CD...it was not needed because there is a link to a web site where the needed software can be downloaded. It was very easy to download and install.

• No it does not require the installation CD. You can download the drivers and software direct from Epson.
