“Can this scanner (Epson Perfection V39) convert scans to Microsoft Word?”

• Hi Dennis, Sorry, the Perfection V39 does not come with software that will convert scans to MS Word documents. However, using the included Document Capture Pro software on a Windows PC, you can save scans a searchable PDFs. You would have to load the free OCR utility as well as Document Capture Pro. • It converts scans to typical image files (jpg, tiff, bitmap). You can then insert the file in Word using the insert picture function on the toolbar in Word.
