“How do I get the V39 to work w/ my MacBook which has USB-C ports? I've tried w/ an Apple USB - USB-C adapter; the scanner won't turn on. Epson's user guide for V39 says "The scanner may not work properly when connected through a USB hub". Is it possible?”

Hello tryingtoscan. The V39 Photo Scanner is designed to only work with a USB A to B cable directly connected to a USB port. Unfortunately, using an adapter or hub can affect functionality and is not recommended. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
