Can you write descriptions of the photo? null

Not sure what you totally mean by that. there is no option in the scanning software that would allow you to put any sort of notation on the scan itself. You can however name the scan file with the description Within the guidelines of the windows/Mac file naming limitations. The software included controls the scanner operation only and I have found no added features for what I think you’re trying to accomplish.
