“I've bought two of these. These scanners give out after a year. Should I replace the USB cord or is it the scanner? Has anyone else experienced this issue?”

I'm struggling again with the power cord. My brother said he's had these issues, too. At this point, after several sessions with tech support, I'm going to buy a replacement cord.
