“Except for the extra bulb, mount, etc, what is the difference between the 4010 &4050? Has anyone compared it to the Sony HW55ES (currently own)? Also, is upgrading from 4010 to 4050 worth it?”

According to projectorcentral.com, the 4010 and 4050 are the exact same projector except for the black casing: "Readers should note that the Epson Pro Cinema 4050, introduced just prior to the 4010, is the same projector housed in a black case instead of white, packaged for the commercial integrator market with a mount, extra lamp, and more generous warranty. All findings in this review apply equally to that model." I believe extra bulbs for these models of Epson projectors are about $300, so the $400 price difference for the 4050 covers the extra bulb, the mount and the 1 year of extra warranty coverage.
