This is NOT a Native 4k projector! The Epson 6050 uses pixel shifting technology to increase the pixel count to that of 4k resolution. This difference between this and the 5050UB is an increased contrast ration of 200,000:1 (1,000,000:1 / 1,200,000:1) it comes with a ceiling mount, spare lamp assembly and additional year of warranty with 2 day exchange. Oh, and it black instead of white.

Still expensive for not being a true 4k projector but for the price range semi-competitive but feel it's priced too high given the new native 4k ultra-short throws that have since come to market. They need to drop the price
