I don't know if you can do this on a regular basis, but one time I was out of regular black ink, and I received a prompt asking if I wanted to use the photo black instead. I clicked yes, and it used the photo black until I replaced the regular black ink. That is all I know from my own experience. Hope this helps you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The photo black (PBK) is a different size cartridge than black (BK) cartridge..I just tried it and the (BK) is too large to fit fit into the(PBK)..The ((PBK) doen't work in the (BK) slot...My answer is NO...I'm sure Epson designed it that way to sell more ink....Freckles
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No because the printer wont let me proceed with printing a picture without changing the one that is low or empty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't believe so. For one thing, cartridges are different size.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can, but I don't recommend it. The physical size of the photo black cartridge will result in movement of the ink cartridge during printing. The end result will be a messy print, waste of ink, and the use of more paper. I would use the ink cartridge that is designed for the printer. I always keep extra ink cartridges on hand. I reorder ink cartridges when I use the last one on the shelf.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes it will work great....I use it all the time...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you can not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm pretty sure you can't. I think I looked it up from the manufacturer when I was purchasing their ink, and ultimately I ended up with 3 boxes of ink. See my review on the product below.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Maybe. It might not sit on the paper right because its formulated for photo or art paper. And your printer may be wise to what you've got loaded in it. Never tried to make it do this before.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
