“Is this a stand alone scanner or is it required to be set up with a lap top computer????”

• This scanner, like most scanners, requires attachment to computer. Lap Top or Desk Top, both are fine. Will not "Stand Alone" .

• Requires computer set-up. The scanner will only file scanned material after creating folders with keywords. For example: grocery folder with store names, list items (eggs, cereal, bread) and etc. I was disappointed with the product for that aspect. I feel that the product could have a generic/basic folder setup and the customer could build on it.
