“I have an old multifunction printer that creates PDF "version 1.3". I cannot upload PDFs of this old version. Can I solve this problem by buying a new scanner? If I use this scanner to create a PDF what version will the resulting PDF be?”

• Current standards are 2.x, but 1.3 should still open in pdf readers. I save in 1.5 on a regular basis and have never had an issue with a client not able to open the file.
