“How does this printer perform when scanning documents that CANNOT be unstapled?”

• That's a no-go for staples, carbon copies and other bulky items though it will scan credit cards and envelopes apparently though I have never tried it. Even papers with hole punches can get jammed and would need a carrier sheet.

• Hello SennyBlint. The ES-50 is designed to scan 1 page at a time. Loading a document that is stapled can damage both the document and the scanner. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
