“I use a printer mostly for card making and am trying to find a quality printer that will print on 85# card stock. Will this printer do that? I am using a HP7640. At the time of purchase it would accept card stock, but no longer.”

I have printed on cardstock in this printer with no issues so far.

Please try again later.Although I haven't worked with card stock specifically, I've run plenty of sheets of premium photo paper through my printer, which is thicker like card stock. It handles that just fine. One note: in the settings menu, you can change the style and type of paper so that it feeds properly. This printer does a really nice job for me and you should be just fine with card printing.
