A:Answer These ink cartridges are very finicky. When the electronic chip registers empty it has to be reset with a specific type instrument. So far I have been unsuccessful in resetting the ink cartridges. The printer is also very finicky about remanufactured ink cartridges. Some work, some don’t. The Epson cartridges always work but are more expensive. I bought this printer for it’s double sided printing capabilities vs cost.
