“Is there a difference between the blue and red displays, other than "color"?”

Display color is the only difference.

I think the blue is kinder to your eyes, especially at night. Other than that, all the specs are the same

Only Difference red is better for use during nighttime driving since it won't kill your night vision although detector has outodimming feature. No difference feature wise.

Blue does not have speed on the display Red does display your current speed.
