why wouldnt this hold a 39 inch flatscreen ? null

More than likely it will hold a 39in television. The problem is weight. I would suspect after a few months the TV stand would collapse because it is particleboard mixed with cardboard. The absolute cheapest construction I have ever seen in any furniture product. I mean walmart makes a better product than this. Yes. Walmart makes a better product.

There is a weight restriction on this item and it will hold up to 35 lbs. That is why the largest TV it will hold is up to is 32".
