QuestionWill the original Eufy 1 cameras work on the newer home Base 2? Will the new Eufy 2 cameras work on the original Home Base 1 I have (first adopter purchase)?

- Answer Hi. The Homebase/Homebase E of eufyCam/eufyCam E can work with the eufyCam 2 and eufyCam 2C from December 15, and the Homebase 2 of eufyCam 2/eufyCam 2C can work with the eufyCam and eufyCam E camera as well.

QuestionSays coming soon on BB website. Anyway does anyone know the difference between the original Eufycam and this Eufycam 2 model. Trying to compare features they looks the same. Wonder if there are any improvements?

Questioneufycam 2k pro when you set an area for camera to cover there is a blue box you can stretch out but there is a green box inside the blue box area. What is the green box for as that can be moved or stretched.

QuestionIt says the minimum working temp is -4* F. So my question is what do you do in the winter? I live in Wisconsin and some of these last few winters it’s gotten to -40* F with windchill! Are you supposed to bring them in during the winter and have nothing?

- Answer For a short time at that temperature they are fine the problem is long exposure. 4, 5, 7 days at that temp, which from what I gather can happen in Wisconsin, is detrimental to most electronics. The main issue is the battery. It will essentially do that same thing that one in your car does at those temps. Save your money and bring them in. I would also suggest a quick mount that you can find on specialty sites so that you do not have to unscrew from the house but more easy to remove and put back in place. They have gutter mounts, screw mounts that attach to your vinyl siding and depending on your camera, magnetic mounts. Take care.

- Answer Hi. there. The differences between eufyCam ($499) and eufyCam 2 ($299.99) are as follows: Homebase 2 Vs Homebase: -The size of the Homebase; The Homebase 2 is much smaller and lighter. The Homebase of eufyCam has a built-in battery for back up. -Homebase 2 doesn't come with Micro SD card, it comes with built in 16GB eMMC, more stable and faster access than micro-SD. Also, it comes with a USB slot that support USB storage. -The USB charging port of Homebase 2 doesn't support 9V charging model, only charge devices at 5V; -The Homebase 2 doesn't support AI, the Homebase of eufyCam support AI. -The LED light on Homebase 2 is blue, it is red on Homebase/Homebase E. -The Homebase 2 of eufyCam 2 will support Homekit when using eufyCam 2 in the future by software update. Camera 2 Vs Camera: -Different Model name on the silk printing; -The LED on the eufyCam is White, it is Blue on eufyCam 2; -The status LED located on the right side of the eufyCam, the status LED located on the left side of the eufyCam 2. -Under the customized model of the eufyCam, the minimum interval time between videos is 0s, it is 5s for eufyCam 2. -eufyCam 2 doesn't support facial recognition, eufyCam supports facial recognition.

QuestionI purchased the eufyCam 2, 2camera system. Description says 16GB eMMc local storage. I get pings when the cameras senses motion. I cannot access the storage of the pings another words replay what caused the camera to ping my iPad. How to access?

- Answer You cannot access files on the base station and only clips online and your cell phone. You will have to subscribe to the cloud service to have access to most of the files in one place. USB does not work for storage. As long as you do not need the entire file this should work. Maybe!!!!
