The eufyCam is designed to operate outdoors within a temperature range of -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C). If temperatures drop below -4°F, the battery's chemistry activity decreases, resulting in reduced battery levels and shorter battery life. However, the eufyCam remains operational in such conditions. As temperatures warm up and return within the operational range, the battery life will normalize. Please note that in extreme cold, such as -30°F, you may experience reduced functionality, especially in terms of battery performance. Additionally, motion detection sensitivity might be affected due to the passive infrared (PIR) sensor mechanism in cold weather. You can increase the motion detection sensitivity in winter to improve performance.
