Directions show it can be mounted to a swivel base does not allow. Does it need a conversion bracket. The link provided did not satisfy my original question about putting it on a mount like shown it the picture of original reqiuest

I agree with you that it's not possible to mount this using a wall mounting bracket as shown in the manual. The brackets you can purchase all require a 1/4" mounting hole on the bottom, and this camera has none. I just wrote about this in my review. I've found some 3D-printed brackets on Etsy which adapt the included ceiling bracket to hang the camera upside down off an arm attached to the wall. I think I may try one of these.
