Only if you sign up for their cloud subscription. The good thing is, you are not automatically signed up when you download the app and create your account. In fact, they’ve never asked me to sign up for it. I’m happy with local storage and the ability to save clips to your phone.

There are no monthly payments as long as you use the micro sd card and don't sign up to use the cloud.
