We purchased the vacuum to pick up hair from our two cats. It does a good job of that. When we first got it, I had it vacuum our main rooms, then used a Dyson vacuum on the same floor to see how well it did. The Dyson only found a small fraction of what the robot captured, so we are happy with it.

Ours does a great job of picking up the hair from our two cats from hardwood floors--especially under the beds and furniture where we wouldn't normally sweep each time.

Yes! Works great for keeping animal hair at a minimum. Still need a good vacuum though.

Yes, it can pick up animal hair. The max suction of this model is 1500Pa. We recommend you clean the dust bin more frequently if you use it to clean pet hair, such as one time around 3 days.
