It does show date and time. Battery life depends on many factors. I purchased USB solar panels which keep my cameras charged, so I don’t need to worry about battery life

This product has not been on the market for a year yet, I have been using for 26 days and it is at 90% with 101 captures. I also use the live feed a bit and even chat with my wife via the walkie-talkie feature in the app when she is watering the flowers on the deck that my camera covers. So, I'm guessing not a full year with my usage, but it will probably get at close to 8 months. Storage is at .72GB of 14.7 GB available. A fully charged eufyCam 2 pro camera can last for one year, it requires the right temperature 68°F (20°C), 10 motion detections per day, recorded for 30 seconds each time motion was detected and no Homekit integration. It doesn't save images. You can go to "Event" on the app and click the video clips, then take a screenshot.
