Depends on where you put the camera. If 7 to 10 feet above the ground (think soffits, etc.) they would have to bring a ladder and be super careful not to show their face as the camera records to the base.

It will be inconvenient to take it down when it's time to charge, but you get the assurance that it's not easily removed or stolen. Besides, you would only have to charge it once every 6 months or so depending on your settings. However, you can add a solar panel for a more permanent solution.
