QuestionWhy do the images of this 2k model look like the older eufy floodlight, with round lights? Everywhere else, the new 2k model has square lights. Is the photo wrong, or is the description wrong?

- Answer Answering my own question. It appears Best Buy got an exclusive to sell this retro looking version of the 2k model, and also offer it in black. Strange choice to make it look like the older model, while the 1080p version now looks more modern.

QuestionCan this camera be with a power cord that comes with the camera only as a power supply? I have a 120 volt electrical outlet/receptacle inside the garage that I could use when I mount outside between 2 garage doors.

- Answer Technically yes it could be run with a power cord. That being said, it would not be advised, for one thing the cord that it comes with is only about 6” long. The other problem would be that it is designed to be mounted to a junction box in order for the electrical connections to be weather proof so there is no knock out to feed a cord out of the light.

QuestionCan the lights be turned on by a switch or are they only turned on my motion?

- Answer If you have the app for your smart phone, you are able to manually turn the flood light on and off by selecting the lightbulb icon. You can manually turn off the light by selecting the lit lightbulb icon again. You can also set the light to be on at the selected level of brightness Chosen. I have one at my home for a couple years and just purchased and installed a unit at my moms home. I can monitor both homes and associate the device with my account .

QuestionI understand the video is stored on the device but my question is can you download the video (after its recorded/stored on the device) to a PC/Tablet/Phone? Also is the video on the SD card just overwritten when new video space is required?

- Answer It is recorded on an app on your phone. You can download, save the file and do whatever you wish with the video.

- Answer you can select AI - human only, or "All Motion" and then yes, it will notify/record all motion, including animals...when I switch mine to the "all motion" setting it picks up my cats every time they walk by.

- Answer Your question depends on alot of variables. You have the option to record different amount of seconds for each event. The longer the event recording the more storage is consumed. I've set mine at 30 seconds. I also delete meaningless events at the end of the day so I've never come close to the storage limit.

- Answer If there is a wall between the floodlight camera and router, please make sure the distance between them is no more than 50ft. The actual range will vary depending on a number of factors, such as the thickness of walls, obstacles inside the house.

- Answer No Windows app but you can download video to phone and transfer from phone. You can view in a browser from anywhere https://mysecurity.eufylife.com/#/camera You can run the android app on your PC if you install Blue stacks v4 and Eufy Security app 3.51. Latest version of app and Blue stacks does not allow the app to work.
