“Is there a key code on the box, like some manufacturers have, to purchase multiple locks that are keyed alike so I use the same physical key (if needed) to open multiple locks in different doors? It doesn’t sound like this lock can be easily re-keyed.”

No, there is no key code on the box. My understanding is that you cannot even purchase a key -- but, when you think about it, even if you have multiple locks, the chances of actually using a key vs. fingerprint or keypad are slim to none, in my opinion.
