Right now this camera connects using a USB C connection. The solar panel is connected by a cord (non replaceable) using a micro USB cable. I am going to buy a converter and see if that works. It should but also for every camera eufy sales they have a connecting device to cover and seal the ports for all their cameras (the non internal solar camera that's not even listed on Eufys website) does not come with a cover for the port.... which leads me to believe they want you to buy the one with the solar panel built into it rather that this one. Because if the converter does not work then well there is no option from Eufy. I think it's good that they went with USB C but should have covered their bases for existing customers with existing Eufy products. IMHO.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to purchase a USB C Solar Panel. It works as I have an L40 and a solar panel with a USB c output connections. I have tried an adapter from micro usb to usb c and it will NOT work. Only a direct usb c will work because of the difference In power output.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The manufacturer does not clearly stated if it does, but I believe it do because on the camera power manager option setting on the L40 you can choose the power source from internal battery or solar power.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should if that solar panel will allow for a USB C connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to Eufy Support, no it cannot. The Solar Charger uses a MicroUSB charger style and the cable is hardwired to the panel. The SoloCam L40 is USB-C.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Im sure it will work with their Eufy solar charger.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
