A: The Eufy L20 is a 1080P and The Eufy L40 is a 2K. At this time the L40 it's only sold by Best Buy. Amazon and Eufy are only selling the L20 at this time.
Q: Does this device work outdoors in freezing, snowy and icy weather?
A: It’s been -15 and no issues
A: Yes, you can view more than one Eufy camera installed on the same network via the mobile app. I have two configured in my network where I can view live feeds or archived events. You can’t view multiple live feeds at the same time. It lets you toggle between cameras one feed at a time. It’s a limitation on the app.
A: I've had my 2K spotlight camera mounted for about a month now. It gets triggered every night about 3 or 4 times since it is above my garage monitoring the driveway. Battery life looks more around 3 months as I only have 4 out of 5 bars on the battery meter in the app. I do have Color Night Vision on with Customize Recording at 60 seconds per clip and end clip early if motion stops. Hope this helps.
Q: So does the device need to be unmounted every time the battery requires recharging?
A: The camera itself unscrews from the mount so you can recharge it without taking mounts off completely, they also make a little solar panel you can mount next to it that stays plugged in all the time so it recharges itself, also to note, 1 charge lasts a very long time..
A: there are a few off brand ones on Amazon with usb-c..I don't think Eufy makes one yet. If you want Eufy brand, you could by the regular one and insert an adapter
A: Well I can't say for sure but I installed mine (100%) at about 4p.m. Yesterday and I'm sitting at 97% battery life at 8:15 a.m. the very next day. I have it set to max surveillance. I tested the light for about 5 minutes last night... it was bright... Imoved it to 100% then back to the factory setting of 80%. I also remote viewed it for a few minutes. Once again with systems like these it will depend on your settings and how many detections it has. But mine will probably last at least a month is what I'm guessing due to the detections from where it's at. What I'm having a problem with is that the current eufy solar panels are micro USB and this camera is USB C.... also there is no additional sealer for the port of you happen to use one. PROBABLY GOING TO NEED ONE.
