In Southwest Florida, the climate is typically warm and humid, but it generally stays within this temperature range. Therefore, the eufy Video Doorbell E340 should work well in the Florida temperatures. However, if the temperature exceeds 122°F (50°C), the device may overheat. In such cases, the EufySecurity app will indicate when the doorbell is overheating and it will switch off automatically to protect the device. Once it cools down, it will restart and continue to operate normally. Remember to place the doorbell in a shaded area and ensure it's not exposed to direct sunlight to prevent overheating.
