The HomeBase 3 comes with a built-in 16GB storage, which can store approximately 2 months of video recordings for a system with one camera (assuming 30 motion detections per day with 60 seconds of recording each time). If more storage is required, you can expand it by adding an external hard drive with a SATA interface, which can provide up to 16TB of space, capable of storing years of video recordings for a system with one camera. When the storage is full, new recordings will overwrite the oldest ones to ensure continuous recording. You can prevent important videos from being overwritten by using the "favorite" function in the app or by regularly backing up old recordings.
