Is it an 8 pin power supply null

I am barely qualified to answer this, but check the pictures - it does have a 20-pin (+4 pin extension) for CPU and then two 4-pin plugs also for CPU (plus many others, for drives old and new style, etc). It worked in my 12-year-old Dell XPS 8300 so seems like it is fairly adaptable!
