I haven't used it recording, but I run 2 screens of WOW at pretty high settings (not all the settings are maxed) and haven't had any issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely. Nvidia shadow play allows recording with 0 frame drop. This card will preform exactly the same whether you're recording or not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well, if you want to record gameplay, this card comes bundled with nVidia's Shadowplay capture software, which is a game capture program built into the card's firmware. It can record up to 4k 60fps if the card supports it, and it does all of this with a performace hit of less than 5% of the card's horsepower. Shadowplay can do this because it can capture straight from the card and encode it without using your CPU in the process.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It really depends on the software you use to record and the games you play. I'd recommend using Dxtory to record, it has very little performance hit and the quality is awesome if you set it up right. There are some great guides on YouTube on how to set it up. As far as the gfx card, make sure your CPU won't be bottlenecking it and you may have to lower some settings in game on some newer titles, but I don't see a reason why you couldn't record newer games on this gfx card. I have one and it's great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you want a graphic card for gaming, you should go for at least GTX 970. It goes for $330 - $400. GTX 980 is better. But that is too expensive. Now I use Xbox for game. Upgrading Graphic card can be very expensive. You can get a Xbox or PlayStation for a price of GTX 970. And both of them for a price of GTX 980 plus some money left for games.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this card will probably work for you, but what are the rest of your specs? The GPU is only part of the equation. you need to make sure your memory and cpu are also capable of handling this, as well as the HDD or SSD you're recording on to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We bought 2 of them. All gamers in this house. Thumbs UP!! for gaming.
