Sometimes, these companies use products in their computers designed only to fit in their products. I've looked at the Dell XPS 8700 and it LOOKS like it MIGHT have a "Normal ATX" power supply. The only way to be sure is to take out the power supply and compare it to a generic ATX power supply.
