• No, this is for a desktop upgrade. The best thing you can do to upgrade laptop performance is swap your mechanical hard drive for a SSD. The Samsung 860 evo does a great job of cloning your existing hard drive and then once you install it in it's place you can see speed upgrade in the neighborhood of 30x
