Yes, research Nvidia SLI, which is specifically for using multiple video cards together. Note that your motherboard will need to support SLI and your power supply will need to be large enough to support the power draw from 2 cards. Depending on your other equipment, you could need in the neighborhood of 1000W power supply. Also note that not all games support SLI, and performance can be worse than using a single video card. One other thing to keep in mind is that if you were previously running games at 1080p resolution, you might want to step up to a higher resolution (1440p or 4k) to make sure that the video card is fully loaded. I know it is counter-intuitive but with a 1080ti you will generally get better performance with a higher resolution (up to a point) because the lower resolutions (like 1080p) do not fully load the card and you become limited by the CPU, causing lower framerates. So before you go buy a second card try higher resolutions to make sure the GPU is fully utilized.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sure, but there are many factors 1) does your PCs motherboard support ‘SLI’ 2) do you have a large enough power supply 3) do you have enough physical space inside the pc case 4) do the games your playing actually support SLI In most cases, multiple cards, especially one as good as this, are not necessary unless you are running multiple monitors or 4K resolution. I would investigate your CPU, ram, and SSD before adding another graphics card.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are getting lag with a 1080ti from just mods I would say it’s not the graphics card that is the problem. You can SLI two of these together. Would depend on your motherboard and computer case. But I do not think there are games out there this can’t run. Unless you are using a very high resolution monitor (4K atleast).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the motherboard does not support multiple external graphics card.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can, in fact, have two of these video cards running at once, using what the manufacturer calls "SLI" and this allows you to use 2 identical cards and link them physically inside the computer and allow you to gain more performance through greater processing power. 2 of these running in SLI mode usually sees a performance gain of at least 25% or more, and some games could run up to almost twice as fast.
