“Is the fan for this thermo controlled or automatic? I just replaced it with my old power supply and the fan does not turn on wondering if its auto or a bad fan.”

• I installed my new 600 watt power supply into my motherboard. The fans are automatic, there is no way to turn it off or on. In other words, if the computer is turned on but the fan isn't rotating, something is wrong. But make sure the blades are spinning, it's a new fan after all, and those things are really quite at first.

• The fan powers on once it reaches a certain. I forgot at what temp but it will be idle until that temp is reached
