Hi, Margot! Sorry to hear your experiencing issues with your Roku Express 4K, the issues you've described definitely are not typical. First thing to check is the network connection on your Roku. To check the network connection press the Home button on your Roku remote, then go to settings, network, check connection to initiate the network check. Your Roku device will begin by checking the signal strength of available wireless networks to determine if a better option is available from your router. If a stronger wireless signal is detected, you will see an on-screen message suggesting you connect to a recommended network. If either connection tests poorly, an on-screen message presents an error code and a brief list of suggestions to help improve the connection. Additionally if you are currently powering your Roku streaming player from your TVs USB port, you will instead want to use the included power block adapter and power the Roku streaming player from wall outlet power. If after you've taken these steps and you continue to experience an issue please contact Roku Customer Support directly at https://support.roku.com/contactus
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine does the same. I think it is in a "sleep mode". I just press a button on my remote and it comes back on.
