• This device supports up to 256GB SD card, the device is configured to record motion events when they happen. Based on a combined motion event of 1hr daily, 256GB will give you 6-8 months worth of video. EZVIZ devices are configured in a way that when the SD card reaches it maximum capacity, the newest videos overwrites the oldest video ensuring that your device will continuously record motion events when they do occur.

• You need WiFi to use it and no u don’t need SD cards however it won’t save the footage without it but you can still watch them from your app
