- Answer You set the area you want to monitor when setting up the camera. I set mine up to monitor a standard master bedroom. It's very sensitive and will detect "human" movement from the T.V.

- Answer Yes, I can view my home thru the camera via my smart phone. The camera automatically starts recording when it picks up movement. I love this inexpensive and user friendly device. You can even speak through it. For example, you could say hello to an intruder. LOL!

- Answer Yes. Go the the app settings. Click on Alarm Notification. Scroll to the bottom and click on Select the mode. Click Silent Mode.

- Answer We are not sure what you mean by weather underground, but if you mean in extreme temperature, then this unit will not work. Please note that this is an indoor camera and not an outdoor camera
